I live ~1,700 miles away from the closest office. If I lived closer to the office, they would have to pay me more due to the difference in cost of living. My company benefits in cheaper labor, fewer expenses for office space, and more productivity working from home. Rolling Stone is missing out.
While this is the correct answer, it's kinda hard to support Tim Apple after his recent performance for Donald Trump. As a long time Apple fan, all the way back to the Apple ][+ era, it hurts me to see what Apple has become. Non-upgradeable, disposable devices that only get incremental updates.
The worst part is that a 10-20% increase in grocery staples are causing people financial concern. For the "richest country in the world", we sure have a lot of people at or below the poverty line.
