Enronning in plain sight!
You‘ve run an amazing campaign and you are going to be a great mayor!

(And even then we are still ceding red states to the opposition, but gotta start somewhere.)
Probably happy to spring ahead though, they’re such little hypocrites.
This guy is just amazingly good at politics.

It's almost like we need *different* Democrats.
Really unusual and cool Halloween lights in our neighborhood.

(Turns out it is a projector throwing pattern of dots on a tree, nicely done, savvy neighbors!)

@wilsonforseattle.bsky.social is 100% correct and @kuow.org owes her a correction. This is sloppy reporting at best and deliberately misleading at worst.

(As a nonprofit itself, KUOW should know better.)
Upholding one's values requires moral clarity, and the courage to make hard decisions. Props to the Python community. This wasn't easy but it was right.

The most disturbing thing about this article is the fact that the military has been willing to follow these blatantly illegal orders.
What I love about the coming of the dark + rainy time is that it is now heating season and I have a new heat pump.
Go go go
NEW: A coalition of political officials, labor unions, and business interests from the State of Washington have filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down the imposition of tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

Harrell, on the other hand, is exactly who he appears to be: an arrogant, out of touch, plutocratic tool with serious anger management issues. FFS.
Bruce Harrell's latest campaign email says "Katie Wilson Is Not Who She Says She Is." His evidence: An interview with KUOW in which Wilson—ahem—SAID she and her husband help with child care from her parents.
well I managed to drop both “recondite” and “lacuna” into casual conversations today, so at least Ive got that going for me.

Shingles better be awful because the vax is brutal. (I got mine last year; wife is down suffering through dose #1 right now.)
The Reconstruction will have to physical, not just moral, political, and legal.

Also I'm just now realizing that he's (unconsciously?) verifying all the rumors of fecal incontinence. There is really a lot going on here. Can't wait to see hear what your students make of it.
