I generally agree with lowering the voting age across the board but never thought about how much sense it makes to lower it for school board elections. Trustees should be directly accountable to the students.

They should sunset the notwithstanding clause. Everyone under 50 has had their whole lives to get used to the fact that people have inalienable rights and freedoms. If provincial governments don't like that because it makes it harder to take advantage of their citizens they can get fucked.

The result / intention of this policy proposal will be a class of people without citizenship in any nation making them vulnerable to exploration by capitalists, without recourse or defense. If they complain, they get deported to a country where they have never lived and where they have no rights.

But, finding out that Ted has spent the last 9 seasons telling a shaggy dog story to manipulate his kids so they would be OK with him hooking up with Robin again is kinda the perfect ending for that character...while being an absolute garbage ending for the series.
