Watching it in the cinema was a magical experience. I was able to catch it again in 3D for the 20th anniversary.

It was a shame there weren't any screenings for the 30th anniversary a couple of years ago.

I remember that scene! It was the first time I ever saw someone in quicksand die on screen (the scenes I'd watched before always ended with rescues).

The fetish manifested years later and was activated by another scene, but I did find myself wishing it was Lena Headey in the quicksand 😋
