Should happen more often. Bad ends are great, the more the merrier too. Plus, it's like, all the important characters got taken out? The world is doomed? Hell yeah.
As a general rule, I think when it comes to prey, the more important the better. Heroes, protagonists, princesses, etc.

My taste in guys is usually like... some degree of monster or creature, couldn't tell you why. Wolf Link is still always in my top 5 of diaperable characters and definitely one of my favorite boys. Lucky's also really good! Also, Charizards...

Unfortunately, that's something you'll have to decide on yourself... Just pick something you like and roll with it, as long at it's fairly simple. And if it doesn't click, try something else. Gotta do what's right for you.

It's a great way to learn some of the fundamentals while still feeling like you're making progress and drawing cute things, which is a good motivator. Start small and build your way up. Personal example, I started with emulating the Towergirls style... lol.

My advice is to start simple. Find an artist, a cartoon, or anything that has a very approachable style that you can dissect into individual parts. Think MLP, Animal Crossing, Sonic, Mario... Break pictures down into individual parts and learn how they fit together. Practice by copying!

Well, I do like my OCs, I just also like drawing random characters who pique my interest at the moment... I really tend to crave variety when I draw, which doesn't lend itself to drawing the same characters a lot. They're around, they'll pop up every so often, but I'm always all over the place.

Mitsuri's somewhere on my to-draw list, I always like strong airheads like her.
Most of the demons haven't really caught my interest though, even if the scenarios write themselves... Not a lot of them fit the cute aesthetic aside from Nezuko.

Cute, cat ears are high tier animal ears, easy access to phrases like kitty litter/litterbox, obvious predator implications in certain scenarios. Really it all just comes together. Very good animal really.
