So scary!!!! In hindsight I know you’re not supposed to pull, but at 4:45am from a dead sleep, it’s just what I did. Luckily it all came out easily and gently and didn’t seem to be down through his digestive tract. And no blood at all. WHEW 😰

I got it all out and cut off the part he swallowed and then held him a long time. Then I gave him food to make sure he could eat. He ate so I think he’s ok. And he purrs when I pet him. CATS!!!!

I ran to the living room for more light and he had swallowed several feet of string from a spool that I had accidentally left out from making plant hangers, and it was still attached to the big spool!

Turkey just scared the shit out of me. He ran in here and jumped in the bed and was making weird noises so I looked at him and he was drooling and a long thread was in his mouth and he could barely breathe. I started pulling it in a panic and it just kept coming.
