We grant the Execution of all the Laws to the Executive Branch.

The problem is that Congress has given up actually writing laws and The Supreme Court has actually given up interpreting laws.

All three GOP branches gave up caring about The Constitution.

Just one, single, serious journalist should ask him why he's not pushing The Fed to push interest rates below zero.

Then ask him what interest rates do to inflation, which he clearly hasn't done anything to decrease.

It is the same here. And even hourly people who may have been working 20 hours per week before are kept right at 29 hours so medium and large businesses don't get penalized under the Affordable Care Act.

I thought the $8/hr (and no benefits) was amazing for that time, having left McDonald's making $5.45/hr.
Amazing for me then, but not for anyone that was working to live, to eat, to support a family.

They are still hiring in some places for $8/hr in 2025, for less than 29 hrs/week.

When I was hired at Walmart (May 2000), there were formal training sessions in the Personnel room, followed by an "informal" session with Larry who was directed to urge anyone applying for Food Stamps etc to be sure they weren't wearing their new blue vest when they went into those offices.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

In the mean time, 100% of American consumers will pay higher prices before (and after) any new domestic manufacturing comes online, to maybe create 5% new manufacturing jobs.

Also as often as TACOs, most businesses will probably just sit and wait 3 years instead of investing in new plants.

How de we know? Because you never heard reported the breakout. You never heard "200 (or however many) Hamas combatants". You never heard 50 or 100 dead Israeli security" or IDF or otherwise.
Only the total dead.

Where did the 1100 number come from? What independent sources?
Or so you just take Israeli government numbers at face value?

Many Israeli civilians were killed but part of that 1100 were Israeli noncivilians and Palestinian civilians and Palestinian noncivilians.
