and then I found the silver Bentley I borrowed from a friend whose name I can’t recall had £13k in used notes in the glove compartment, which was nice.

In other news, I also won £800 on a fundraiser at my cricket club. The wife has already spent it.
Won 45-20. I’m very broken. Three times someone grabbed my bollocks whilst tackling me. It’s a weird sport.
Ian Watkins stabbed to death. Oh well.
Just watched The Thursday Murder Club on Netflix. Awful. Probably the worst film I've watched this year, and I've watched three Adam Sandler films.
My mate, who I lived with in a student house back in 2001/2 has just become a grandad. As someone that still identifies as a 22 year old, I find this troubling.
Both of us have kids that have extra curricular activities, so that makes it hard too. Think we’ve sorted a midweek night in 4 weeks though, pending authorisation from our wives 😅
Being a grownup and trying to arrange a pint with a mate is hard. We’re terrible at it and keep saying we’ll organise something. Before you know it, another year has passed.

They were so graphic for primary aged kids. Scared the life out of me! Never climbed a pylon though, so maybe it worked.
Loving the cagoules Stoke have got in. Also bought the purple away top 😁
We had a talk about it in school assembly in the 90s too. Sounds like it resurfaces every couple of decades, like Pennywise.
In case any of the parents on here have books in the Spy Dogs, Spy Pup, and Spy Cat series by Andrew Cope, there’s a URL on the back of the book that has been compromised and takes you to adult content now instead.
Watford have sacked another manager. 12 in 5 years is a good effort.
Despite generally being on the losing end, I love the away Ashes series. TMS in bed, staying up for Boxing Day, despite being exhausted from the day before, the incredible stadiums.

3rd Test 2010, wife in labour with our first.

Her: “Aaaaaaaarrrrgh!”
Me: “Yes, we’ve got Ponting!”

Good times.
Love this from The Sentinel’s Peter Smith:

The man whose first big decision in English football was to sack John Eustace and appoint Wayne Rooney to put his club on a fast track to relegation, now claims he knows what is best for the game in this country.
What an absolute moron this man is. Saying he wants more tourists is the absolute opposite of what most fans in this country wants I reckon. The big clubs are full of tourists every week, which has dampened atmospheres.
