So I created an AHL award.

Years ago, I had the idea to recognize great AHL players who aren't on NHL contracts. Today, a group of league media is launching The Bruce Boudreau Award.

I always found that Michael knew ten times as many people at the H-E-B Center than I did simply because of his chatty and outgoing nature. I think I made more random connections during his 3 years thanks to Michael's introductions as he roamed through the arena and said hello to anyone and everyone.
